Our Product

Michigan
Wall Panel can provide a number of advantages over conventional site
framing. The panels can be built even before the site is ready, therefore
reducing start-up delays. The rough-in stage takes much
less time to complete as walls arrive at the site numbered and ready to
stand up. Material and time waste are
greatly reduced in our automated facility where consistent precision panels
are produced allowing us to save you both time and money.

In our Design Engineering Dept we carefully
review the Architectural, Structural and Mechanical Plans for special
conditions that may affect the assembly of the panels and also the field
installation by our customers. We then create a computer generated layout of
the customer’s plan for the proposed structure to be panelized in our
facility.

This information is then sent to our
Virtek saw, via wireless technology, the wall plates are then marked by
laser, a computer monitor tells our set up man where to place the components
which are then sent to the framing table.

The framing table clamps the components
to eliminate movement of the studs while six P.L.C. driven guns nail the top
and bottom plates simultaneously. The panel then moves to the next station
where its computer calculated double top plate is installed.

The panels then move from the top plate
station where they are mechanically squared and clamped before sheathing
is fastened to the exterior walls.

Exterior walls can be sheeted with
Densglass, exterior Gypsum, OSB and CDX plywood.

The Bridge with its 24 staple guns
attach the sheathing.

The Auto Stacker removes the panel from
the Bridge to create the panel stack which is now ready to be loaded on
the semi trailer.

The metal framing table clamps the top
and bottom tracks tightly to the studs holding them on layout. The studs
are then fastened to each track with a 4 head automated screw driving system
which screws both sides of top and bottom track simultaneously. Air
actuated rollers then allow the panels to be moved down the line to the next
station.

 | The
computer not only generates the panel designs to be built, but it also
generates a panel stacking list which will reduce shipping costs and provide
for the customer a sequence that will allow them to efficiently unstack and
assemble the panels for a more efficient building time in the field.
